Natural stone chosen in Boryeong is scanned in 3D, and laminated walnut is CNC-milled layer by layer to the scanned form to make the top. Its edge is finished in 24K gold leaf, setting a band of light between stone and wood.
One of three pieces of ‘furniture for rest’ shown at La Triennale di Milano in 2018 (Constancy and Change in Korean Craft).
